Unfortunately, that's irrelevant it's still a foul. It shouldn't be a yellow card though in my book, even with the totting up because as you say, he didn't mean to do it.

He volleyed their player, of course it's a foul. Harsh that it happened to be that one that tipped him over but you can't honestly say it's not a foul - we'd have been screaming for it the other way around.

It's definitely only 1 game. Think MR is getting confused because it is his 2nd ban but as the first was for a straight red that punishment is served.
