I think this is true in many cases but not all cases. If you create a good "work life" culture within a football club, many players would be more inclined to stay or join. Same in any work place. It's not all about money and agents forcing moves for everyone. (I'm well aware it is for a lot)...

McCallum had one of his best games for us for a while yesterday. I think he'll get better. I'd love to keep Ostigard, but surely Brighton, who seem to be a fairly progressive club, are monitoring his performances here and would be looking at offering a more favourable contract than we could.

Yes everyone saying he's good thinks he is the second coming of Xavi. 🙄 He's an exciting player. Maybe not our best, but certainly up there. His mix of attributes make him interesting / exciting. Can you not see that? Can't you let us fans enjoy that while he's here without the "hE's nOt tHaT...
