From what I’ve read Simms was £3.5m initially with the rest dependent on meeting clauses. So not just staggered payments. I think/hope we have 5-7m to spend on a midfielder in Jan.

It's not a great draw. Our best 11 should win it but I'd worry if we play a rotated team, they're doing well and a scalp from a higher league is always a motivator. Also can't see the attendance being that great unless they drop the ticket prices significantly.

The comparison is because he wasn’t levels above in his first season, that only came later. Wright has objectively had a better start to his city career.

Rule doesn’t need to be changed at all. What would you even change it to? If any of the ball is on the line? Are you going to implement this for the goal line as well? The rule is fine.

O’Hare didn’t look good at all on the wing when he came on last night, positionally confused and misplayed/timed multiple passes. More training needed if he’s going to play there I think. He may be better challenging Allen for the more adventurous position in the midfield 3.
