4 home games to save the season

Preston manager gone. Felt like that was our ‘easiest’ remaining home game.

    Match Thread Wycombe

The worst bit about yesterday is that if you read the Wycombe fans view they're all saying they were shite even by their standards and we still couldn't beat them.

    Taxi cancelled for Robins

They didn’t sack him, he was poached by New York Red Bulls

    Hamer

It’s hardly a huge surprise that a defensive midfield isn’t getting as much stick for missing easy chances as the striker is. It‘s the primary role of one of them. But yeah anyway, Hamer has been really poor recently but thought he was better today once Kelly went off.

    Taxi cancelled for Robins

Robins reaction - so what’s going to change

    Remaining games

Beat Preston, get a point against Huddersfield, Millwall and Bristol City, lose the rest. Relegated on 45 points.

    Wycombe Ratings

Pete, we’ve just drawn 0-0 at home to bottom of the league and their keeper didn’t have to make a save in the second half. Missing good chances early on isn’t something to be applauded, we don’t get any extra points for nearly scoring.

Our entire game plan seems to be ‘Did we score one of the two good chance we’ll create in the first 15 minutes? If yes, success, if no, panic’

    Max

I like him as a bloke, he seems very committed to the club and has certainly made contributions to our success in the time he’s been here, however, he’s simply not good enough and shouldn’t be starting games for us in the Championship.
