Agreed. With a decent buffer to the bottom 3 it's more important to stop teams below us picking up points. I'd have been happy enough with 4 points from the Wednesday, Blues & Forest games so with 3 already on the board we're well placed.

He's been harshly judged when playing out of position. I asked this at the time but can you imagine one of our other CBs such as Rose, Hyam or McFadzean playing as a wing back?

Yeah agreed, I think it just died on the poor surface, their player didn't chase it either, in fact Baka reacted quicker than he did. It was a good cameo from Baka last night, did exactly what we needed him to. Helped keep the game in their half, stretched them with his movement & won plenty...

Agree with that. I'd seen a bit of him before he joined us & was impressed. I was convinced he'd eventually break into our first XI last season, probably at the expense of Hyam. A combination of the back 3's form & injuries to Pask meant that never happened & it's all gone a bit awry for him...

He's not featured for them since 2nd January, missed last 4 games, probably can't afford for him to get injured & scupper the deal.

I love Sheaf & was surprised he came off as we needed calm heads on the ball & it's normally what he's really good at but admittedly not his best game tonight & Shipley did fine.

Think that's harsh. I've been his biggest critic all season but thought he was decent tonight save a couple of wayward clearances. The possible red card challenge was Østigård's mistake not Hyam's, he calls for the header, Hyam moves aside to leave it for him & Østigård completely misjudged...

Yeah, they're a physical side but no intent there, Hamer's ball out to Dabo was loose & he had every right to challenge for it.

In fairness, he had forced himself ahead of Pask & Drysdale hence his cameo appearance off the bench last week.

Fantastic result & good performance 2nd half. Hyam much, much improved, Gyökeres good in parts, O'Hare & James very good & although it'll pain some to admit it Shipley & particularly Pask did very well.

Played pretty well 2nd half, absolutely shut down Wednesday.
