I asked you this yesterday but you may have missed it. What specifically about Norwich makes you think they'd relish playing vs wing-backs? We changed to a wing-back system specifically for the match vs them earlier in the season.

Interested to know why you think that? Last time we changed from a 4 at the back from the previous couple of games to wing-backs specifically for the Norwich game & successfully got a well deserved point before reverting to a back 4 for the following game.

Experienced Championship players expect experienced Championship players wages. Also if they're available it's usually because they are at the tail end of their career & can't get another Championship team, the odd one (like James) great but we can't build a team that way.

I'd be really concerned about pinning our hopes on a player who can't even make the St Mirren team. Not sure bringing him back & paying his wages for the whole season just to play in 1 game would have been particularly wise & I think his social media comments when leaving won't have done himself...

Exactly & you can add Rose, Marosi, Hyam & Allen of the current squad who all achieved or exceeded what they were brought in to do.
