He’s not at the club though is he… We were sitting in the playoffs through using a 4231/433 with one (1) natural wide player at the club. It was obvious we needed someone in Jan and we didn’t get it.

90 mins of playing keep ball vs some part timers and Kelly is starting again? No thanks. I think we probably lose this whatever we do but stick to a back 4, Eccles and Torp midfield, Wright Simms Palmer front 3.

…no? the fact we didn’t get one in Jan is either his or the recruitment team’s though.

He obviously wanted more depth in Jan and didn’t get it, and will inevitably get blamed if/when our form dips. King & the recruitment department should have done more. Sakamoto’s injury is going to expose our lack of depth even more.

Also- Wembley semi finals should be scrapped. Go back to neutral grounds.

100%. Also probably as winnable a game as a big 6 club gets right now.

Wilson Lati Thomas Kitching Bidwell Kelly Eccles Tavares Allen Palmer Godden That's probably the weakest/most rotated we could go without youth players and it's only 2 changes. anyway

That team is pretty much what I expected, with Torp instead of Eccles. Our squad isn't big enough to play a fully rotated 11.

So no MVE or O'Hare and Tavares starts... How can that be much stronger than expected?

    Transfer Rumour Summer 2024

Palmer's not 1st choice anywhere this season but has played plenty of minutes. Having 4 starting quality players between 3 forward positions would be ideal.
