Not yet, think he needs to see Ayari add more to his defensive side before he trusts him with a start. But I don't think it will be too long, possibly when Palmer goes on international duty and we play Hull. I'd like to see him get 20 minutes today if possible.

The big difference for me this season is that we now have CH options on the bench that can come straight in and do a job. Last season the only options were Panzo and Rose, I think that says ot all. And this year we only have 1 loan defender, not 4 !!! (If you count BNC as a defender)

100% true, but at his age he ain't going to be playing much longer, and he's not going to able to play 2 games a week over the winter. so I can see a slow introduction for his replacement over the next 8 or 9 months, and can possibly see Fadz retirement at the end of the season.

I'm sure Kelly knows he's only here for cover, and is quite happy to be used as such. He offers the experienced head in the dressing room and is one who sets the standard in training, but can still be available to come on for the last 20 minutes of a game that we need to see out.

Very true, but don't forget Ffp, which has recently come in, and is supposed to put a cap on what clubs are allowed to spend, (based on their turn over and profits and losses) and therefore reduce the spiraling cost of transfers and give a more even market. Clearly it doesn't seem to have...
