We've taken two big followings to MK . One of them was a very good league attendance when we won 3-1. Then there was the F.A. cup match. We would have taken 8000 anywhere for that game given the round we were in. Between the two we took much less to a league game near the start of the season.
Here's my stab at a guess:
MK Dons Parasitic Bastards 1500
Burton 2000
Rugby 3000
Birmingham City 4500
Northampton 3000
Can't think of anywhere where we'd average more than 4,500. I'm not including away fans either. I'm basing all of this on a season similar to this one in terms of results ...
Remember "the great escape " film with Steve Mcqueen, Richard Attenbrough etc ?
If they can smuggle dirt out down their trousers surely a group of fans can smuggle in a bit of sand , cement and aggregate. No flush will get rid of that.
No one should go to MK Dons. Parasite club who exist at the expense of Wimbledon. If we end up there you have the option of propping up these bastards by going or not going on principle.
The penny has finally dropped that Ccfc are more than likely to be cast out of the Ricoh. It's all mudslinging. It's the blame game. What none of it does is solve our immediate problem.
I doubt we'll get above 4,000 average at any ground within 20 miles. If Robins were to leave because of the situation you can halve it.
If by some miracle there is a deal to stay at the Ricoh for a good few years I think crowds would increase from last season.
If we are shipped out to Burton or MK then we will be getting crowds no bigger than Accrington and therefore will be punching above our weight in League 1.
