Always difficult balance to run with young players they need experience but how do they get it without playing in the first team, they will make mistakes, but look at Hyam came in the team played well but had a nightmare v Yeovil got over it now to me looks the real deal.

Reports within the club rate Thompson very highly, I like Willis but does miss quiet a few games with injuries. Perhaps get an experienced centre back in on loan but either way I think we need extra muscle in front of our back four.

We have Davies, Hyam, young Thompson and rumours of another coming in so one on their way is a real possibility I’ve said numerous times it seems to be one in one out.

Don’t think we need two, wouldn’t be surprised to sign another with Chaplin being perhaps the one. But after watching Saturday which despite the result I was impressed with I think we could do with more muscle in midfield.

Will we sign anybody ? If we do what position/positions ? Robins has always said he wants another striker but for me my priority would be a big powerhouse central midfielder.

? Nothing wrong with Hyam. Actually I think Robins will go three at the back and wing backs, a lot don’t like it but done properly I think it’s okay

Bloody hell, Sterling is 19 and was playing his first ever league match.

Mason did the right thing, ball came out of the sun, he was last man with all charging out towards him, could have lumped it forward but half our team were in off-side positions, he showed good maturity for a rookie. Looks a good player.

My assessment: Thought we played really well overall we will get better and I believe will challenge this season Andrue and Ogogo were excellent as was Mason. Sterling will be real asset too once he finds his feet him and Bayliss worked well together at times. There were no real negatives to me...

How many games did he play in midfield ?

How many of the new season ticket holders are new support or those who didn’t buy last year but paid on the day and just re-newed not sure. If we can break the I would love it to be 12000ish but suspect about 10k home support.
