Never heard of that site & suspect the way they track isn't the same (and possibly not as thorough with verification) as the well known stats providers. For example he didn't hit the post v Huddersfield, it was off the defender. The 1 v Rotherham was actually saved onto the post by the keeper...

Don't disagree with that at all. I think we are massively unbalanced as a squad & the wealth of attacking talent masks a whole host of problems behind them. The centre backs lack pace, all of the defence have a mistake in them, including the goalkeeper, & the Midfield is almost as problematic.

Need to be a bit careful with those kind of stats though because as you say the style of the teams play makes a massive difference. Burnley play probably 90% of their football in a low block, making lots of tackles, contesting a lot of high % balls, the top teams obviously don't play that way...

Certainly was a deserved criticism of him previously & he lost his place in both the City & England teams as a result. However he has been superb this year &, with the exception of last night, had pretty much managed to eradicate that from his game. Let's not pile on by far our best defender...

There's usually a cut off date around the start of the season for eligibility. Don't think he's long turned 19 so would almost certainly be eligible for U18s.

Just 2 goals from Corners is awful.

It's not worked out as hoped no but stupid signing is harsh. It's a very small outlay on a young player with potential & you can see he has a lot of attributes. For whatever reason, we've failed to tap into that potential. Many such signings won't work out, others do, that's the model we have.

This I agree with. I don't think the formation has been the issue in the last couple of games, it was the choice of personnel in that midfield (and the selection of Biamou as the striker). Although I certainly wouldn't call Hamer "defensive minded" he's definitely better operating from deeper...

Pretty sure he said it's not as simple as 2 up front = More goals like most think but that he'd switch between 1 up & 2 up depending on the opposition & situation.
