Not from that post alone. He’s been going on about us being desperate to sell a player all summer, and saying stuff like ‘the O’Hare injury couldn’t have come at a worst time’ when talking in the context of the finances makes it sound like we were banking on selling him.

The way you talk it makes it sound like the club is at risk of going bust if we don’t sell a player soon… O’Hare definitely on the way if he wasn’t injured then?

Ashley would probably be alright as an owner of a smaller club like us. The issue at Newcastle is their fans think they should be a Champions League club and he was never going to provide the funding for that. I’d imagine he’d be willing to put enough in to get a Champ team to the Prem though...

I’m 26 and I was one of the only ones in my year at school to have a season ticket. Most of the kids were Liverpool, United or Arsenal fans, there was barely any Cov fans.

That goal today will have put eyes back on him. Let’s hope the club stand by their valuation and price the suitors out of the market. Crucial that he stays.
