I prefer Wright on the left vs centrally. He's much better receiving the ball facing goal, rather than away from it. He's also quite good at getting to the byline and standing one up. Simms is certainly better at playing with his back to goal, using his body and bringing others into play.

You haven’t watched him so you have no idea how good he is or how he plays. Also, there’s plenty to criticise our centre backs for but one thing they’re actually pretty good at is going forward with the ball and driving us up the pitch.

I would hazard a guess that for a lot of our players this year it will be the most minutes they’ve ever played in a season, so they’re not used to it. Also it’s distribution. We played 8 games in April, with 4 really tough ones (Leeds, Soton, United, Ipswich). Doubt we ever had a run like that...
