    fridays game

I won't criticise anyone for saying that. I will see out the season, but I am only really looking forward to Walsall away, and perhaps Notts County. The rest of them I'll be just going through the motions.

Official - we are in administration already

In a roundabout way, ACL seem to have achieved their stated aim; that being the club in administration and a points deduction this season. It also opens things up for a possible takeover. By luck or good judgement, they appear to have engineered the situation they wanted. It remains to be...

    fridays game

It will be at the Ricoh. Nailed on. Finding an alternate venue at such short notice would be logistically impossible. The only other option would be that the game is postponed, but that would have huge repercussions.

    Time to go Tim

We can hope. I yearn for the great GMK days where we filled the boredom between games by discussing weighty issues like "Is mayonnaise on chips acceptable?". Somebody would usually be called a c-unit by page 2 and the thread would go on for weeks, but I still prefer that to all this High Court...

    Time to go Tim

I thought you'd be happy with that Ash? I haven't really shifted my position all that much. I've been critical of SISU and ACL from the start, and remain so. Events have taken over to a certain degree though, and SISU (via TF) have become more erratic over the last week or so and I think the...

    Time to go Tim

Good question. I agree with you. Read my original post, I said the exact same thing, and suggested TF should have resigned at that point. I'm not sure why people are trying to argue with people that are agreeing with them.

    Time to go Tim

Read what I fucking said you complete clown. I said they had shook hands on a deal and so that should have been that. Everything else is irrelevant as I was referring to my personal belief that the demands were excessive. Fisher I suspect was 'happy' with it in the sense that it was all they...

    Time to go Tim

Seriously? After the endless debate on here about what is a fair level of rent for a L1 club you feel the need to ask that question? You know exactly what I meant, and clearly you think it is fair so unless you want to start a completely fresh debate about the rent and revisit all those...

    Time to go Tim

Absolutely. I have been very critical of ACL over the rent issue, and still believe their demands were/are excessive. That said, when you shake hands on a deal, you shake hands on a deal. That should have been the end of it.

    Time to go Tim

It is a shame, because I consider TF to be probably the most capable of the SISU puppets that have been thrust upon us in recent years. My suspicion is that JS is the real problem here. We know that Fisher and Co sat around a table with ACL and shook hands on a deal, and I genuinely believe...

    The timeline of despair......

One or two errors in there, but otherwise a pretty decent appraisal. Makes for very sad reading.

    Conor Thomas

His performance against West Ham last season was immense. Absolute travesty that he cannot get into this side.

    tickets for walsall

We have been told no tickets can purchased or collected on the day. We have to order them by 4pm tomorrow otherwise we cannot get tickets (although presumably we could drive to Walsall to get them in person on Wednesday and Thursday). Remains to be seen if they relax this.

    tickets for walsall

Just called Walsall to get mine. She seemed a bit annoyed as the phones haven't stopped ringing all day apparently, so must be plenty of people getting them. Will definitely affect our following there though if tomorrow becomes the last day to get tickets.

    Potentially 4 interested parties

People talk a lot about ethics, especially in relation to SISU, so I have a question. ACL, it appears, knew there was an individual who might be interested in purchasing the football club. You might have thought they would have then alerted SISU to this fact and have attempted to put the two...

If the worst comes to comes worst

This. Never understood these weirdos who are 'fans of the game'. What sort of wishy-washy nonsense is that? There will always be a CCFC, whether it is the original or a reincarnated version, so pointless discussion imo.

    Venue for Fridays game

I'm not sure how your comment was relevant to what I said, I was pointing out the fallacy of the argument that said SISU should be locked out because this was 'certain' to make them back down (and pay up). I don't believe that for one minute, do you?

Why have BBC CWR sided with SISU?

You must have missed all that stuff about the BBC fearing that they might lose broadcast rights if they are too critical of SISU, or the claims that they were deliberately refusing to read out texts that were critical of SISU. It's all there, you just need to pay a little more attention.:) Oh...

Why have BBC CWR sided with SISU?

I think it is a measure of just how desperate the SISU OUT fanatics have become that they are now trying the suggest there is some sort of BBC conspiracy where clearly there isn't one; to the extent that they are citing the fact their text was not read out of the radio as evidence. What next...

Why have BBC CWR sided with SISU?

They'll be plenty who'll say he is being balanced - it depends on your viewpoint. Put is this way, if he was being blatantly anti-SISU, how many of you would be starting threads on here about his lack of balance and complaining that he wasn't giving SISU a fair hearing? None of you would do...
