    JCH

Didn’t rate JCH at all as a centre forward looked better in the air defending corners

    Summary of January business

Who says, have you followed his career and Reading, there are plenty of players at “bottom” of the prem food chain I’d have in our team, what was Sterling at Chelsea for example.?

    Transfer Rumour David Meyler

So has McNulty but many city fans would have him back in a heartbeat.

    Transfer Rumour David Meyler

Has he been out injured ? If not he would have played reserve games matches etc. Doesn’t take that long to get up to match fitness couple of games at the most.

    Ogogo gone

He didn’t get dropped until about November though, although imo he played well most games in the opening months Midfield situation was different though, Kelly was out injured, there was Andrue trying to make his mark, Bayliss and young Thomas out wide plus Hiwula and Bakayoko up front.

    Ogogo gone

Well let’s say he played well most games, was never a long term answer agreed. Perhaps MR should have been more ruthless and put Ogogo straight in in Doyle’s place. But don’t tell me Doyle didn’t play well most games.

    Ogogo gone

Also for the first couple of months of the season Michael Doyle was outstanding m-o-m match most games, so it was hard for Ogogo to get in and get established. Some signings just don’t come off, Ogogo being one, he’s been replaced with this Meyler from Reading, played a better standard than...

    Charlie Wakefield

Chaplin is there to miss chances, for me that’s a positive, yes he should have more goals in his locker but he has three in the last four so he’s going the right way. There are players being bought for millions nowadays with not much more than the eight Chaplin has to his credit. Apologise to...

    Transfer Rumour David Meyler

Trouble is Grendel wants him to fail so he can say “I told you so” says he’s a city fan but obviously happy when Max got injured, sad twat.

    Summary of January business

We are third division, with little or no money, people seem to forget that, difficult almost impossible to sign established players from higher up or even our own division, so we have to gamble a bit, division four, non league, players with injury history, reserves, Scottish leagues they won’t...

    Summary of January business

Think the window was okay managed to shift three players, Andrue, Ogogo and Doyle all would be high earners and unlikely to feature much, plus JCH who has become a bit part player lately doesn’t score many and probably at the higher end of our pay scale, don’t know anything about Wakefield or a...

    Albany Meeting ?

Wouldn’t worry about any daft boycott ideas or threats will never happen, in fact if this goes on as it is and we get nearer to the end of the season gates could increase.

    Stoke City Fan In Peace

Similar club in stature to us obviously on a re-build with a new manager who hasn’t had the best of starts, like a number of relegated prem clubs will have a very high wage bill to service I suppose that’s the turmoil Niksaval is on about.

    Albany Meeting ?

It is but the real world don’t work that way. It is frustrating for us fans in the middle, we can’t do a lot until either one does blink, to think just two or three people have the power to finish a city treasure and confine it to history.

    Albany Meeting ?

We are waiting to see who blinks first sisu or wasps, opinion the other nights was it wouldn’t be sisu and after this latest appeal if it’s thrown out again they could apparently go to to the Euro or civil courts we suspected that. Not at all sure where all this will end.

    1 day to go ...

Not a big lover of the January window to be honest, if we get through tomorrow without losing a major player I can live with that, consolidate the squad, get some of the youngsters bloodied and ready for next year.

    Albany Meeting ?

Correct Otis. For me same as the Ricoh. I hate it, My heart , memories etc, lie in Hillfields, now a crappy housing estate, I drive past it twice a day, can still identify the shape of the ground on Swan Lane, for me the Ricoh is just where we play. BUT, for my grandkids it’s our home ground end...

    Albany Meeting ?

How many more times ? A Phoenix club wasn’t discussed as a solution it got mentioned more than discussed as a WHAT IF scenario should things go beyond the wire, see fuck all wrong in that. It wasn’t 100% popular, the prospect wasn’t 100% agreed, it was just a worst case scenerio

    Albany Meeting ?

Stop picking hairs. The Newport County formed in 1912 went out of business in 1988 and reformed in 1989 as a CONTINUATION of the old club. Not sure of the full name but the word County was added with permission of the league don’t know which league as they are a Welsh club but I suspect it’s the...
