Strangely I find myself so fecked off with SISU that I'd probably go and watch a PH4 team (how does Coventry Eagles or Elephants* sound?) at the Ricoh whatever league they were in. I suspect the lease may be a sticking point, but if SISU sadly do get control of Ltd back then ACL could always say...

As my old man says 100% of something is normally better than 100% of nothing, which is after all nothing. You could say that they figured that SISU would never hand over the owed rent and it was better to get some of it back, via admin rather than none of it.

Gut feeling says no, but that's not based on anything factual. I thought ACL just wanted the rent payments they were owed, Higgs would sell to SISU and PH4 but Council would veto any sale to SISU. The Charity can't just give their share away as I under it and are unlikely to be willing to sell...

And the clock is ticking to allow time for the fixtures to be decided and published ahead of the new season.

Sorry, I missed off the smiley, I agree and I'd be very surprised if we are not playing at the Ricoh next season, unless (as mentioned in another thread) we are not playing at all which is a scary thought. ACL have already said that they have not locked out CCFC...

But what about Uncle Tim and his travelling football club idea, Roll up roll up see the stars, a different ground every other week all dates in Coventry cancelled. Why would CCFC/SISU need ACL?

Personally I wouldn't like it but I'd have to accept it if everything was above board.
