Two wrongs don't make a right

I get a woman in to do my typing for me. She's not a Mormon though, at least as far as I know but I might have to stick some probes into her to be sure.

Two wrongs don't make a right

Does the paranoia really run that deep? Are we suggesting this is now a Mormon conspiracy? What next, secret subterranean temples? Animal sacrifice? People dancing naked around fires wearing David Icke masks shouting "wahoooba"? Fuck me.

    New kit?

Who is going to pay for a new kit? I doubt very much Puma will extend credit terms, so who will pay up front for all that stock? The administrator/CCFC Ltd have no income streams. Would SISU really plough a load more of their own money into the club this summer - would they pay Puma, or for...

    Alternative Ground

On the basis that the idea of continuing as a tenant will be simply not be on the agenda for any new owners, nor should it be. Any deal will, as a minimum, include the Higgs share, and you don't pay a shit load in rent to play in a place you have 50% ownership of.

    Stuart Linnell....

Got to love japandy. Not sure I can vouch for his sanity, but still a message board legend from the days of dial-up.

Could the rug be pulled from under the players on Sunday?

It is going to have to happen. If SISU go the entire workforce is laid off and CCFC Ltd via the administrator will have to cherry pick who they re-employ. Clearly, without the SISU subsidy, there will not be sufficient income simply to rehire everyone and the administrator will have to ensure...

Could the rug be pulled from under the players on Sunday?

That's what people want though surely? People want SISU to go, and SISU going means liquidating CCFC Holdings surely? What other exit option do they have, because nobody will buy it from them. If SISU go we all rejoice, but we must also understand all staff, players included, would be laid...

    Alternative Ground

It wasn't really, The Withdean already existed and the idea to move there was only conceived after they had moved out of Brighton. The circumstances were different yes, because the owners that forced the sale of the Goldstone Ground were forced out so those that followed the club the 70 miles...

    Golden share found!

If the FL had got it wrong they would never had admitted it, the loss of face would have been huge, so they would have fudged it. I'm not sure what legal recourse SISU would have had since share is the FLs to issue anyway. The FL say it is with Ltd, and SISU I suspect still dispute that, so...

    Golden share found!

But the FL advised ACL weeks ago that the GS was with CCFC Ltd, so their position hasn't shifted at all and in that sense we haven't learned a huge amount today, in fact I don't think we are any further forward in reality. I don't blame BA for trying but I'm not sure it has done much good.

500K a year was his basic salary iirc.

Are we really reduced to this?

If you want to compare apples with kebab meat then go ahead, because Ken Deluded sitting in the dugout is hardly comparable with the opening of a retail concession selling merchandise in a busy supermarket (regardless of the stupidity that led to that position). It isn't embarrassing and to...

    Golden share found!

What have we actually learnt today? That the FL believe the GS is with CCFC Ltd? We knew that was their position already. That any move outside the city would be temporary? Well, we also knew that too because their position on such matters is common knowledge. I hope there is more to this...

Are we really reduced to this?

I can never understand why people are so quick to label things 'embarrassing'. Why is it? If a fan of another club saw it they would just think the club had a small concession in a Tescos store and wouldn't give it a second glance. People also say we are a 'laughing stock'. Ask fans of other...

    BOYCOTT Season Ticket Purchases

Therefore you cannot criticise individuals for ignoring options they didn't know existed. There were a good many people who bought into the idea that SISU essentially 'saved' the club at that point, and that was a perfectly reasonable position to take based on what we knew at the time.

    BOYCOTT Season Ticket Purchases

Indeed there were other options, yet we were never told about them because CCC insisted the club only deal with SISU.

    Stewards

So? What are you suggesting? Everyone who joins has to make a first post, and that was his. I'm not sure where this thinly disguised support of all of SISU's actions was, or indeed if there was any support at all. Perhaps I misread the bit that said 'SISU should go' and 'I'm not renewing my...

If Sisu stayed where would we be allowed to play next season?

Someone is bound to ask what the other 3 are, so it might as well be me..

Two wrongs don't make a right

I should hope so, Martin Reeves earns £175,000 a year. For that sort of money you'd hope the people of Coventry would get someone with their head screwed on.

Are most of the 1st team looking for new clubs i

Whether they want to or not, most will be going in the summer. No way SISU will continue to subsidise the club with everything that is going on (not least when you consider the extent to which income will fall), so they will look to slash the wage bill. All the more reason you'd have thought...
