Tim said we are moving to rugby

Playing at Rugby: When and how do we get back that’s the important question, surely the only question. IF there is land somewhere in Cov it would surely be identified by now. So let’s talk Rugby Towns ground realistically, yes it’s nearer than last time, Sixfields, easier to get to from most...

Tim said we are moving to rugby

Were Tim Fishers eyes bleeding when he spoke to this “bunch” of people ?

    Luke Thomas

I’ve gone off Thomas a bit, he is a talent but has no final product yet, missed a sitter again today had it gone in I think we’d have cake walked the match. His catalog of misses throughout this season has cost us a number of valuable points, we would easily been in the top six.

Match Thread Coventry City vs. Oxford United Match Thread - Saturday 23rd Mar

Second full season is always difficult, Bayliss is still a good prospect but still learning, he’ll come good again I believe, he has oodles of talent.

Tim said we are moving to rugby

Easy to find out if it’s true if as Fisher has claimed it is due to be announced soon then the local Rugby authority and Warwickshire constabulary will have been consulted atleast we can find that out Monday on foi. I’ll comment on what I think about when I know if it’s true or not.

Think today is a lesson for next season an injection of experience needed, in midfield and up front.

First bid was never going to be accepted but not turning it down flat just maybe opens the door for talks, another bid etc. Fingers crossed

No it can’t, not as first class club anyway, professional football clubs depend on identity keeping support long term and adding new and specifically young support, we will quickly become a former league club like a Torquay, Halifax, Southport etc. Do you want that ?

    Definitely imo

Back to the 3 options might just be something the EFL think they are obliged to do, there are certainly more questions than answers at the moment.

Don’t you just wish we had a picture of Nasel Nigel somewhere.

I don’t think any fan wants expulsion but as we stand now it will happen all three of those options leads to being out the league eventually one way or another

    EFL Stadium Vote

Granted I concede 6 mile isn’t hard and fast personally though I don’t think there is anywhere, Nuneaton perhaps, but I’m certain local media etc would have found out and I’m not certain Warwickshire council will allow it.

Agree on the 26th date perhaps that can go into the summer BUT eventually answers will be required not only by the EFL but the players and agents too. Where was the 6 mile stipulation mentioned in that post ?

    EFL Stadium Vote

Option 1 kills the club eventually, Option 2 kills the club definitely (no land) and within three years is pie in the sky Option 3 will happen if nothing changes pretty quick, doesn’t need voting on. All three are dire choices and all three raise the spectrum of a Phoenix club again a dire...
