It’s quite amusing how people have been talking Middlesbrough up for months, saying they’re favourites for the play-offs etc. yet if we beat them on Monday we’d finish the season on 2 points behind them.

I don’t think us dropping out is as unlikely as some are making out, but I do think we will do it.

We’re capable of beating them on current form and with the injuries they have, but they’re also more than capable of sticking a few past us if they click. Hopefully they’re not that arsed as we have two proper contests with them in the play-offs.

We should want Middlesbrough and Luton to both win in my opinion. Ideal situation is Middlesbrough having nothing to play for but also not in bad enough form that they might want to try and beat us for a bit of momentum.

Hamer was always going to win. Better form at the time of the vote and is liked more as a person by the fans which counts a lot for this sort of thing. Don’t think people like Gyokeres that much, as evidenced by the penalty thread yesterday. I’d have given it Gyokeres every day of the week...

We aren’t even in them yet. Won’t think about any potential final opponents until it’s 6pm next Friday and we’re still in there.

Draw would suit both teams most likely as we’d probably avoid each other in the play-offs. Not feeling overly confident about it all though.

Those odds seems crazily low for us. Really doesn’t take that much for us to drop out in the grand scheme of things.
