What attendances will we get at "shared" home grounds ?

If we ground share it will cost us support and money and we can’t afford either and neither can sisu. It will also cost us the baulk of what looks like a team with potential, probably our manager too.

    If we move

i asked around at work was surprised actually how many st holders worked there a few took their kids too, none will renew, scarey really. I think attendances at a shared ground will be a lot lower than anticipated on here.

Not in the Woodlands area, would have to be blue.

    Rumour...

The problem with any new gtoundshare is I think from an EFL prospective it will have to come with specific new build proposals regards building a new ground in Coventry and those proposals will have to be a bit more than two sides of A4 paper. My gut tells me EFL would sanction a move on a very...

Needs addressing for next season although I like the look of Westbrook needs game time between now and end of season to see what he’s made of, what’s the point of playing loanees now.

Doing something like pitch invasion being the obvious will be pointless but doing something at a Wasp fixture wouldn’t.

And what difference would that make ? He’s not even up for re-election this time. This scenerio has been brewing for more than a year and imo we have all been complacent towards it. We the ever suffering fans can now only sit back and wait with fingers crossed that something will prevail, I...

    CWR tonight

I am right by Nuneaton ground now at and if anyone thinks that ground and the surrounding area is suitable for first class football they are deluded.

    CWR tonight

You are seriously deluded if you think we’ll get 5000 per game on a regular basis playing elsewhere and even if we did that’s still a loss of £100000 per game we scrape through now on double that attendance figure.

    CWR tonight

And that illustrates what I think will happen imo. Our home gate is up to around 10k now, took a while to get there but it has and slowly increasing, it will plummet elsewhere, I think at Burton it’s less than 5k home fans.

    CWR tonight

Personally I think that’s very optimistic, after the initial first couple of games I would say 3000 home fans if we are lucky. I don’t know anyone who has said they will go.

    Cllr GGeorge Duggins

You are correct Harry. It’s those “experts” behind the scenes and names we will probably never know who influence things. But the very least that should happen is where is there a suitable piece of land to build a stadium. If it isn’t the Woodlands site is there another. I would think that’s all...

    CWR tonight

I could go back historically years where our CCC have blocked our club on a number of issues including re-building HR simply because it would alter a road, Thackell Street. If that had got the okay we would still be there and what you say about the franchise I don’t disagree with but at the...
