I think frustratingly we could have used the free market better to replace Fadz and Kelly. Alan Browne was a real miss and would have filled the Kelly void. Anyway, the window isn’t shut yet, so let’s not judge just yet…

Some good points. We haven’t replaced Kelly who was experienced and a leader. And we defo haven’t replaced Hamer as a midfield dynamo. We haven’t replaced Fadz as a leader and experienced CB. These are the 3 positions we need to do something about before the window shuts.

I’m shocked nobody has made a move for him. Easily mid-lower Prem teams he could play for. Would be great abroad as well. If anything like last summer maybe he will be gone on the last day of the window when clubs will start bartering with SU and his head will be turned.

I would play the bench with some starters from yesterday. We need the best 11 ready for next Friday against Oxford in the league. The players won’t be at it if they play Sat, Tues and then Fri. Fully expect Robins to make plenty of changes.

Don’t think is anything to do with Roberts. Robins is ultimately the one responsible for the starting 11 and the tactics.

We need a marquee central midfield signing before the end of the window, as well as a seasoned right sided central defender. That will be the difference between comfortable top 6 v squeezing in.
