    Supermarket shortages

I haven't seen milk shortages at any Tesco, Lidl, Aldi nor Sainsbury's in Rugby. I often freeze mine. Defrosts in 48 hours. Give it a shake. Bingo. ...same with the milk.

    Coronavirus

I keep seeing people shaking hands and greeting each other with hugs on TV , programmes obviously made before all this kicked off. It seems weird. I keep thinking "Nooooo ! "

    Coventry city badge wall sticker?

Indeed they are. On the flip side I drove into a big Aldi near Wrexham today and loaded up with food and straight out into a half empty car park. Oh joy ! ..they don't know what's coming.

    Supermarket shortages

Sadly Otis, I agree. Lots of elderly people and the not so young wandering around amongst empty shelves looking completely disorientated and confused by the whole thing. The sooner all main supermarkets set aside an hour a day for the elderly the better. The sooner they restrict bulk buying the...

    Supermarket shortages

But right now people are buying too much. I'm not condoning it at all . What you are saying is if people stuck to their normal shopping patterns there wouldn't be a problem . That's obvious. But they are clearly not. Right now the large supermarkets are struggling big time , the queues are...

    Supermarket shortages

This is utter drivel. The shops are running out and can't cope with the demand. It may be panic buying and in due course it may well calm down but as things stand right now the "plenty of supplies" as you've quoted from the news channels isn't keeping pace with demand. They would tell us...

    EURO 2021

You are really, really boring. It was such an uplifting thread until you had to do your usual thing and put everyone right.

    Supermarket shortages

It's a good opportunity for supermarket managers to see what foodstuffs people just aren't interested in. For example, all baked beans have gone. But baked beans in chilli sause they just can't shift. Same with asparagus soup. Some people are very fussy when the world is about to end.
