    Charity match update

    That's not bad.

Why do SISU still want Coventry City Football Club?

Plans what plans, Tim said at the forums we'd see the plans within weeks and we still haven't. Maybe he meant 306 weeks or something, but it still stinks of pie in the sky BS. Haven't heard much on the land deal either!

Where will you be on Sunday?

At the Ricoh and really looking forward to it, tell your friends to come along and have a great day out watching City Legends play in aid of good causes. And if you needed further encouragement you'll also annoy Young Timothy with your presence, as an added but totally free benefit.

Coventry attendance at Sixfields ‘to be smallest in league history’

Never said I agree with their decision just that I don't think we should be naming people in a negative way just for supporting our club. Now personally I'd rather they didn't go and went with me and thousands of others to watch a cracking game of Football involving city legends of the past at...

Coventry attendance at Sixfields ‘to be smallest in league history’

It's their decision to go and whilst you may not agree with it it's their decision not yours. Some people are so committed to the support of their club that they only care about that and aren't bothered about who owes rent to who, who applied for a Judicial Review etc. That's their choice and...

Ricoh Arena 'very profitable' even without Sky Blues

Far more likely that some lawyers are involved as any shareholding over a certain percentage has to be disclosed to the city and anyone who has a controlling interest also has to be disclosed. Could be through some Cayman subsidiary but someone clever could probably trace it back.

Ricoh Arena 'very profitable' even without Sky Blues

Even if it was a bailout due to the lack of agreed rent being paid, it didn't need a high court judge to see that SISU were just distressing ACL by withholding the rent. I'm very glad though that a high court judge did see that SISU were doing that and threw out the Judicial Review. :blue:

Ricoh Arena 'very profitable' even without Sky Blues

I wonder if they've received threatening letters from Lawyers. We know Nick hasn't but do you think they have, might explain why seemingly innocent comments critical of SISU on the site were removed.

Suggestion from a Villa fan (not taking the p*ss)

Can't agree with targeting Mrs Fisher but I did like the Deadly Dung remark.

Ricoh Arena 'very profitable' even without Sky Blues

I wonder if things will change after Sunday and we know how many people travelled to Sixfields.

Ricoh Arena 'very profitable' even without Sky Blues

But we had the opportunity to become the stadium operators and chose not to take the offer up.

Ricoh Arena 'very profitable' even without Sky Blues

Whether they are profitable or not the fact is we're homeless and ground sharing miles away from our home. If Joy really did say we won't be back in the Ricoh unless you sell the Freehold to me at my price then we're likely to be homeless for a while. If this wasn't the case surely she would...

Suggestion from a Villa fan (not taking the p*ss)

Do we have to talk about relegation this early on in the season (even if it was the one many years ago)

Just thought I'd ask a quiz question

Are you talking about Ltd or the other companies that make up our club, Otium SB&L etc? They've got the player registrations/contracts, Ryton, Golden Share incomes (radio and Tv money), CCFC trademarks etc. The liabilities outweigh the assets but they do have assets

Just thought I'd ask a quiz question

Wait a minute I answered this it's Coventry at Sixfields. Also where's the money coming from that we're going to spend under FFP our sell out crowds at NTFC?

Just thought I'd ask a quiz question

Coventry, it's a trick question. Sixfields has a tiny capacity limiting our maximum capacity, prices have had to be reduced because of the 35 miles distance from our city and we're only likely to get a fraction of the F&B revenue. Doubt pitchside advertising is included either and car parking...

Just thought I'd ask a quiz question

They took on a stadium that was losing money despite all the tenants paying their agreed rent. Can't remember the exact figures but it was something like 300k the council lost each year and Rovers were paying the same in rent. The stadium naming rights were included in those figures, so even if...

Just thought I'd ask a quiz question

Think Geoffrey Robinson asked about a rent reduction which I suspect is the one mentioned there. Not sure ACL had the finances to offer a reduction back then but happy to be corrected. Sisu made no serious attempt to negotiate the rent deal it was in the Trust Q&A.

Just thought I'd ask a quiz question

Swansea may have a better deal but..... The Welsh Audit Office commissioned a report on The Liberty Stadium. The stadium finances have come under scrutiny and a PWC report for the Welsh Audit Office in 2011 (which I can't find online) stated that the way it is financed is unsustainable...

Best game you've ever been too

My cousin came to her first match at that game and we had to tell her that it wasn't always like this.
