    Summer transfer window 2024

I think that’s about £4m for us too.

    Summer transfer window 2024

The financials of the club in terms of incomings won’t have actually changed that much though. Even 10,000 extra ST holders is only worth ~£4m a year. That disappears quickly with the fees/wages we’re paying now. And if our financial security is reliant on having saleable players that can go...

Played in the bundesliga and Swiss league, and came on for them at the weekend. They’ll be looking above us.

You’re welcome. I would do the same! Enjoy that wonderfully smug feeling.

    Is this Highfield Rd?

@undies I’m 100% sure it’s Millwall, the old den. Only thing missing is the tarmac sponsor but this photo was dated 1993 so had probably been replaced by then. If you’re correct on the late 70s date, probably either 5 Feb or 31 Dec 1977. Millwall winning both, 3-0 & 1-0.

Surely a quality loan or two is the obvious answer. We're a good side. We play good football. We've got decent facilities. Great environment for a young player at a prem club to come and stake a claim.

    Oxford Cup Tickets

Yeah they deffo could do more. https://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/points-for-away-games.161932/ Great data from the other thread - e.g. Middlesborough away on New Years Day would've been worth only 10 points but we only sold half the tickets. Games like that should be given heavy bonuses.

    Points for Away games

Maybe you could add how much each game was actually worth in terms of points too? Mostly 10, away midweek/cup 20 and away midweek & cup 30.

Match Thread Coventry City - Oxford Utd - Match Thread - Friday 16th Aug 8pm KO

He has him covered from the initial cross. You can't then expect him to anticipate the header back across from a man he can't see, spin 180 degrees and block it. It's nothing defending from Bidwell. Even if the initial cross goes to their 9 he's behind him so he can't do anything. He's lucky...

We weren’t a player short though, it was 4 defenders vs 4 attackers. Binks has his man covered. Bidwell comes across for no reason, leaving the man at the back with a free header.

Match Thread Were the Oxford goals Lucky or calamitous Defending ?

The (very small sample of) statistics say we have a decent defense (9th best xG against) coupled with a good attack (6th best xG for) and are unlucky to have conceded 3 from the chances we’ve faced. My eye test says our midfield leaves too much space at times and is naive getting back. And...

Because the demand is ridiculous. There’s 120,000+ people on the waiting list for a United season ticket.
