They are at the same point in their careers tbf. This Simic has only played in Croatia, Austria, and Switzerland though so I don't see how anyone can say with certainty how he'll do here. Huge steps up in quality for both.

That's exactly what would happen to them here, if they're lucky. Man City have a good record with youth. Foden, Lewis, McAtee in their senior squad. Then Palmer, Lavia, Harwood-Bellis, Trafford, Rogers, Doyle, Charles, Delap, etc. all playing in the prem. It is a no brainer.
