Without wishing to get embroiled in one of these silly debates that goes nowhere, that comment is the definition of bonkers.

To an extent yes, but that's to be expected I suppose, but it's all relative. When we have been a goal behind in previous games, such as Brentford, Rotherham and Tranmere, there hasn't been that lift you'd expect from a home crowd when chasing an equaliser and we went on to lose all those games...

I'll answer that honestly - yes, it is better with the extra supporters, as it was on Boxing Day, and behind the goal has actually been quite lively last couple of games. All that said, it is still shit, wouldn't pretend otherwise.

    Rotherham Away New Years Day

3 blocks sold so still loads left (I think we were given 2400). A 4th block now open for sale online.

    Rotherham Away New Years Day

Bit annoying that more people will go to Barnsley than Rotherham, it's not exactly top day out material and Rotherham is a much more important game. Still expect 1500 New Year's Day which is more than decent in this division.

    Sixfields and the hill

There is a pool of around 4000 who attend games at Sixfields. Just because there is an average of 1500 attending across the season, doesn't mean it is the SAME 1500 every week. Given than we only have a few hundred season ticket holders, the rest of the crowd is made up of people who pick and...

    Adrian Durham

Perhaps they should have let us walk one in after Leon's goal was ruled out? Never offside in a million years. Battered them second half. Get over it Durham you cock.

    Boxing Day

Apparently Posh have sold 1600 with PATG available. They will probably have two sides of the ground today. Even with a much bigger than usual turn out from City fans today, which is likely, we still might be outnumbered :(

    Will CCFC vanish ?

Fair point. Bit of a fail on my part.

    Will CCFC vanish ?

I really am lost. I have not been on here much for months so I think I may have missed something...

    Will CCFC vanish ?

Sorry, crossed-wires I think. Was just making the point that you don't have to be religious to be all sanctimonious and righteous - you get that from a lot of evangelical lefties - the ones that think they are all so tolerant, inclusive and progressive; but when a political opponent dies they...

    Will CCFC vanish ?

Missed the point in spectacular fashion.

    Will CCFC vanish ?

    uh? :thinking about:

    Will CCFC vanish ?

Agree with that, but the same can be said of non-religious people too. There are many who consider themselves morally superior simply by virtue of which political party they vote for. You only have to look at some of the pond-life writing for the Guardian; people who are never shy to use their...

    where was everybody

Ah, my mistake. Talking of Rotherham, confident we'll take 2K there ourselves next week.

We are fans of the year!

Magic82ball has addressed this point in a previous post. The FL would have been looking for a commitment that SISU had the means with which to keep the club in business, pay staff wages etc. They would not have been looking for a commitment on the quality of the players on the payroll. The FL...

We are fans of the year!

You're just being your usual obtuse self :D The club might well have demonstrated that they can fund losses for a specified period time based on average gates of 4000 (neither of us know the basis of this so-called 'promise', but it would be absurd to suggest that this notional agreement would...

We are fans of the year!

I am not sure where you are going with this. Any assurances would presumably have been based on projected income. Nothing is guaranteed, and stupid as the FL are, they are not THAT stupid. If income has fallen way short of what they projected then of course the club may exercise their right...

We are fans of the year!

For some yes, but others seem to be clinging on to the idea the boycott will force the club into a u-turn. Just now someone has posted this on another thread: "How to get cov back in cov.stop fooling yourself and stop going to sixfeilds.it is the only way" I think that is nonsense, it isn't...

We are fans of the year!

OK, if your stance is purely a moral one and you care not of the consequences of it then fair enough. For others though, the boycott is a means to an end, and that I have some difficulty with because I do not see how it can achieve the desired aim. All been done to death I guess so I won't...
