Personally think he makes poor decisions and is far too laid back with the ball at his feet. Absolutely no doubt in my mind he’s technically a far better footballer than Lati though. Im not sure what the answer is, probably just finding the right balance.

I think it’s mainly that Lati panics when he receives the ball and treats it like a hot potato. Bobby Thomas doesn’t panic enough and tries to play through balls to the strikers from central defence.

Lati has done better than I thought at centre back tbh. That being said, Bobby T is a far better footballer and the way he tries to pass makes his “mistakes” look worse than they are. Don’t think he should have been dropped, should have been given more time.

As long as Robins and the coaching staff aren’t recreating the Arteta Arsenal light bulb team talk, I’m happy to give them time for now. Fitness and running ability second half yesterday seemed to be one of our main issues.

Watching this back, Haji and Simms both have to score one of those chances and then it’s a completely different game. Our first half performance merited a goal, but the finishing was poor. Second half EMC should really have spotted Rudoni back post instead of going for goal.

Yeah I think the money that’s been spent makes some of the bed wetting justifiable. Still feel it’s a bit too early to be making wholesale changes to formations etc, but 10 games in if we haven’t seen an improvement we need to do something quite different.

Slightly upset he’s left, as he offered us a different option to what we already have. That being said, if anyone from the squad had to go I’d probably have chosen him. If football matches were 45 minutes long he’d be a much better player.

Think his shooting technique is pretty good! Unfortunately he’s now being asked to play in deeper positions which don’t suit him. He’s best at arriving late in the box.
