It seems like we are conceding many more good quality chances to the opposition than we did in the playoff season. Hopefully keeping the defence the same for a while and having that bit of continuity will see things tighten up.

Yeah Dasilva was good. Thought he tired towards the end and when they brought that big unit on, I felt that was actually time for Bidwell.

They compliment each other well and I think they need a run of 10 games together for us to start seeing the best of them.

I couldn’t be bored of that first half, just was a bit annoyed it was only 1 at half time because I knew what was in store second half! I think he has just learned his best defence today tbh. Seemed happy with the defending post match - I thought it was a bit wafty at times today though still.

I wouldn’t say necessarily more solid, but the passing out of defence was pretty good. Kitching in particular first half today played some excellent passes.

Mate the results aren’t quite there and the defence remains suspect, but we played some good football today. Can’t really give up on this season after seeing that first half away from home against good opposition. Feels like there’s more to come at least.
