All that said...it might make sense to rest McCallum for the replay v Blues. We need our best players for the #1 aim, which is promotion.

    Beezy Mason

Fuckmylife. This is getting bizarre. Explain why Robins wouldn’t just pick who he thinks is the better player for any particular game?

Respectfully disagree. Football is about constant change. We have to deal in the now and adjust to the changes as they come.

When the season is over we will have multiple ‘in's and outs’. We are embroiled in a scramble for promotion, we have to play the strongest team available now...given changes will happen down the road, why would we be thinking about next season while we need to negotiate our next game?

I don’t know what’s going on with this particular subject but people are way over complicating things. It makes perfect sense that Robins would pick the best team to get the best possible result. Mason didn’t make the team and no matter what everyone’s opinion is, they have to get over it. If...

    Robins post match/mcallum sale

This is getting strange. What difference does it matter how many times I’ve seen Mason and McCallum play live ? It matters to Mark Robins. It’s his job to play the best team to achieve the best results. And Mason hasn’t had a sniff because Mark Robins thinks McCallum is better. Is there a...

wtf are you on about? Robins has picked McCallum over Mason consistently and he obviously has no problems playing loanees in front of developing players. They aren’t opinions, they are facts... whether you agree with them or not.

    Robins post match/mcallum sale

Hardly m8. I said end of, for me. If you think Mark Robins won’t pick his chosen best 11 in favour of developing another player when winning games is vital to our season, you’re beyond help.

This logic makes no sense. Do you think we should drop on loan Walsh for permanent Allen ?

    Robins post match/mcallum sale

From what I’ve seen (which I admit is limited), McCallum is a very special talent. Robins obviously rates him higher than Mason, which at the end of the day matters more than our opinion. Players on the edge of the squad have to stay motivated and work hard. They have to be ready to go...

    Robins post match/mcallum sale

I think it’s reasonable that Mason should be rotated in for certain games (cup games or to cover fatigue) but you ask any manager and they’ll tell you that they’ll pick their strongest eleven. This is a results business and the managers have a short shelf life if results are poor. As far as the...
