    Game pie

Why doesn't that surprise me :D My daughter declared she was a veggie a year ago, and to be fair she has stuck to it. Not that she doesn't eat meat now and again. Is this really Quorn mince in this shepherd's pie dad? Of course it is sweetheart, as if I'd do that to you ;)

Quite a few games have been declared on actually, Swindon and MK are definitely on, as is Shrewsbury I think.

Coventry town centre (non football related)

Not sure what you are disagreeing with. What some people think about Coventry is irrelevant. I know people from rural Leicestershire who think Leicester itself is a hole, but Leicester is still the regional centre and is better off for it. And besides, I know a lot of people from Warwickshire...

Ginger on ginger, it should never happen. It's like when matter meets anti-matter, stuff happens.

Rory Donnelly to sign on loan from Swansea

Agree. Wouldn't be arsed if Bristol City game was cancelled to. Start them all in front of a big following at Notts County.

Coventry town centre (non football related)

That nickname is just lazy. The words just blend together nicely. Cov is no more or less 'chavvy' than any other large city. Nottingham has more going for it, but then it is a regional centre with an urban area twice the size of Coventry. Worse places than Cov, as anyone who made the recent...

Coventry town centre (non football related)

Some good news about Friargate in the last couple of days though - http://www.insidermedia.com/insider/midlands/107221-coventry-brink-securing-major-occupier-landmark-friargate-scheme - think this development could be the start of real change.

Coventry town centre (non football related)

The sorting office plans relate to this: http://www.bishopgatecoventry.co.uk/ ...but it's a bit of a shocker. Hopefully will be revisited.

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

PWKH I suspect isn't lying, because he will have known for some time what the accounts look like. My guess is that they will probably look quite healthy. Some will jump on that and claim they are profitable without CCFC, others will hit back and say the accounts cover the period of a big...

    Ricoh Arena Has New Tennants!!

And we won't know that until February 2015. The next set of accounts due are for the year ending 31st May 2013, so will cover the period of the Olympics and the whole of the 2012/13 season when we were still playing there. Truth is we don't really know what their financial position is at this...
