Sky Blues debated in House of Commons

Simon - perhaps you can now turn your attention to the farce surrounding the opening (or not) of the South Stand. I would love to hear an explanation from the SAG.

    Update on ticket situation

The key question being, why are the arrangements made for Crewe not applicable here? Makes no sense.

    Update on ticket situation

So only 1000 SS tickets are being made available, so there will be several thousand empty seats at that end of the ground. What a pity.

    Update on ticket situation

The whole thing has become tiresome. For days we have defended them (because I am sure it has been difficult) and they have hidden behind the SAG and the delays opening up the SS. Fine, but that was resolved yesterday morning - and a day later we still have no sign of those tickets going only...

Not able to renew ticket online?

Same here. I actually emailed the club 4 days ago asking them to release my seat for sale as I already have tickets. No reply, and as far as I can tell my seat is still available to me because I am able to renew my season ticket for the full price suggesting the Gills game is still available...

    Should of waited

Why doesn't it help? It is just indicative of the demand for this game, and of course it is the go to game, that's a given. None of this has any relevance to the farcical south stand situation.

Stop being a depressed bunch of wankers

That money would have barely covered half of the substantial losses of last season, and yes, I know who is at fault for that. But let's not pretend we are suddenly cash rich. Perhaps this season we might move into break even territory, who knows. The big question is whether or not SISU will...

    Should of waited

Really? How much notice was there for the Chelsea FA Cup tie? And which is easier to police, Cov - Chelsea with 5500 away fans, or Cov - Gillingham with a following of 200. I do agree though, that this is entirely down to the SAG and the club are probably as frustrated as we are.

    Should of waited

Uh? They'll all see it anyway, it's on TV. Not sure how limiting the attendance Friday can possibly impact positively on 'bums on seats' for the rest of the season, whatever the result. There is no way of justifying this shambles. Anyhow, just hope we see some common sense today.

    Frank Nouble Signs

We told Newcastle fans Craig Bellamy was crap. Some people even said Richard Keogh was overrated and that Cyrus Christie would not be a footballer while he had a hole in his ass. Others said on the departure of McGoldrick that he wouldn't score goals in the Championship. Most football fans...

    Should of waited

I don't think the club have handled this very well. They really ought to have carried on selling tickets. Plenty of football clubs have stood up to unreasonable police demands in the past and they always prevail. That said, the blame here really lies at the door of the SAG, and that is...

New information for Gillingham tickets from club

Below is fine, but then Celtic - Rangers was never a particularly difficult game to police eh. But Coventry and Gillingham fans occupying the same stand!? Are you mad? Call the Safety Advisory Group!

New information for Gillingham tickets from club

'Safety Advisory Group'. Who the fuck are they and what are they for? I guess they just spotted an opportunity to justify their own pointless existence and are milking if for all it's worth.

Can Ricoh Ever Truly Be A Football Ground

Think it will be a 10 minute journey from cov station to Ricoh on matchday. Just as significant are the trains coming in the other way from Nuneaton and Bedworth which will be a big help to many. Can't come soon enough.

Can Ricoh Ever Truly Be A Football Ground

Yeah, the train station will open up all sorts of pre-match opportunities that just aren't there at the moment. As it stands there are social clubs and the casino with not a lot in between. It will change how many away fans view the stadium for a start.

    Back from the club shop.

It holds 6K tops, and yet block 12, which is technically in the away end as it is the other side of the barrier has already been sold to city fans, so no more than 5.5K left to sell in there, 2K of which will probably go to Gillingham (Crewe got 1800 iirc).

    Waggott

I don't recall ever seeing Waggott swinging from the branches trying to take credit for anything. He will have just facilitated the acquisitions, and I very much doubt SP had players thrust on him. Either way, I don't get how much digging some people will do to try and discredit somebody they...

Can Ricoh Ever Truly Be A Football Ground

The issue of memorabilia is pretty irrelevant. The main issue with the Ricoh is its location. I can't think of a single edge of town stadium I actually like. Hopefully the station will make a difference to how disconnected it currently feels. For me, the Ricoh isn't just soulless as a...

    Waggott

Of course, because the manager had no say in those acquisitions at all. Give me strength.
