Not sure that's right. Our combined average of every year in the Championship whilst at the Ricoh is only 18,112. We only ever averaged 17.5k or higher in the first 3 seasons there with it dramatically decreasing year on year.

Sounds like James Garner might rejoin Forest on loan. Hopefully not before the weekend!

We averaged just over 15k last time we were in the Championship. The truth, is outside of the hardcore, we have a very apathetic fanbase for a variety of different reasons.

Yeah, absolutely. Young players all develop at different rates. Just because Maatsen, McCallum & others might be in our first team at 18, that doesn't mean that a 20 year old will never make it.

Remember it well. Tbf, it wasn't so much bringing Andrews on (although he was awful) it was taking Leon McKenzie off when he was the only one who looked remotely like making something happen. In fairness, we were all right about Andrews though, pretty sure he never scored again for us & only...

🤣 Fwiw, I & 1 or 2 others agree that he was a weak link for a pretty large portion of last season. I know (similar to Kelly) that's practically blasphemy due to what he's done & achieved previously but he looked out of his depth a lot of the time. That said, I think it's unfair for us to write...

Cheers, saved me a job! 😁 I would also agree neither Hyam or Østigård were progressive last season, certainly not in the way McFadzean is for example. All of this is caveated of course by Hyam playing on his weaker side, I think he'll be much more effective in possession on the right but we...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

No, agreed, but specifically in a ball playing back 3 I'd prefer a lefty if they're at least of similar quality. Maguire is pretty comfortable on his weaker side tbf & so far ahead of Mings that was a no brainer. The only reason Mings even makes England squads in my opinion is because he's a...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Exactly my point, as good as Østigård was he made a lot of mistakes too, especially at the beginning of the season & his use of the ball is poor. Hyam had a poor season imo, although he improved a lot towards the end. He's definitely better on the ball than Østigård, but was hugely hampered by...

    21/22 Summer transfer mega-thread

Ok, fair enough but you said you'd rather sign Østigård. I assumed the comment about not signing someone average just because he's left footed was aimed at Clarke-Salter. What if Clarke-Salter turns out to be just as good/better defensively than Osti as well as naturally offering balance on...

Think their starting XI would likely only include 1 youth team player, the rest all have quite a bit of first team experience. Depth is flimsy as hell mind.

On what basis is Clarke-Salter not a good defender? Plus his ability on the ball surpasses anything else we have, he will be a massive asset.

    That's not NPG, it's including penalties isn't it? Walker scored 6 (1pen) in 1801mins NPG/90 = 0.30 Godden scored 6 (2pens) in 1452mins NPG/90 = 0.25

I don't view Waghorn as purely a goalscorer though, he offers far more than just that, which as much as I like Walker, isn't really the case with him. I'm guessing you were going for hyperbole but his best season at this level was 16 goals & 11 assists with NPG/90 of 0.39, way ahead of what...

That's to all of their trialists isn't it? Which at last count was what, 7? Haven't EFL said they can only sign 4 anyway? Whole thing is a clusterfuck.

Tavares is 5th in line for a striker berth or effectively 4th in line whilst Godden remains unavailable. I think we'll keep him around, especially as he offers something completely different with electric pace & exceptional work-rate. Yes his positioning & finishing particularly still need work...
