He was generally okay. The no booking for the player that cynically brought Simms down and then feigned injury was a big mistake though.

I am in the same boat, I don’t think he’s particularly good, but hard to argue that with his last two performances. Fair play to him, he’s certainly got the right attitude and if he can play in a way that doesn’t expose his limitations on the ball, I’m sure he could continue to do well.

I personally don’t want him sacked. This season other than a few glimpses; Watford first half and possibly bits of Blackburn, the performances haven’t been great. In the past I have been able to see us play well, lose and realise we can turn it around. Haven’t seen as much of that so far yet...
