    The Statement.....

If we'd had someone doing that in the Richardson years we might not be here now.

    The Statement.....

A transfer embargo means that you can't buy (or loan in) players. You can still sell or loan them out.

    The Statement.....

Well, better than nothing. If they've realised the importance of communication, then better late than never. They need to make some meaningful statements on Monday/Wednesday - not empty platitudes.

    Why offload King and Platt

The accounts are filed with Companies House. Normally when accounts are delayed it's because there are issues over the "going concern" status of the company. Given our financial position, it's likely that to avoid qualifying the accounts, the auditors will require guarantees of support from...

    Why offload King and Platt

Failing to file accounts makes no difference to any points deduction. The deduction comes if we go into administration. Whilst that is obviously intimately linked to the financial situation, it's completely separate to the filing (or otherwise) of accounts.

Cov Telegraph - Transfer embargo because Cov did not file their accounts....

Sat next to Harry Shaw on the one and only occassion I was in the Directors' box at Highfield Road. Real City fan. He and I were the only people in there shouting abuse at the ref.

Put the blame where it belongs

Can't say for sure, but normally these type of "private equity" agreements have provisions that if a Director resigns, his shares go to the main finance provider (SISU in this case of course) at a pre-determined price. This is usually meant to be a major disincentive to leaving, but in this...

Put the blame where it belongs

A lot of sense in what you say. The question is where do we go from here? I'm sure that if SISU could wind back the clock, they wouldn't invest in CCFC. But they did. So now they hold a fairly expensive (£25m?) investment in a loss making business that seems to be going backwards. Do they...

    Just so i'm clear,

It's in the nature of football fans (and Boards) to have unrealistic expectations. Remember sacking Snoz so that we could "kick on" under Terry Butcher - that worked well. Remember sacking Eric Black so that we could be "guaranteed promotion" under Peter Reid - that worked well too. We...

    Marlon staying?

Their "specials" are usually for an hour - mind you if they want to cover all our problems it could still be going well into next month!

    Marlon staying?

Looks like he's staying if this is legit. Might be nice to have a statement from the club - even if it's just about how nice the weather is today...

If he sells his steak, we could be left with just the rump of a Board. :D:D

    King to Cardiff on loan

Could be of interest to SISU???

True, but he's still a really irritating tw@t.

    King to Cardiff on loan

I remember when Blackburn first got the Jack Walker money. They were in what's now the Championship and going for promotion and they seemed to buy strikers off all their promotion rivals. Somehow don't think Cardiff see us as promotion rivals though............
