Nowhere near that far. I drove to Javea from Alicante a couple of weeks back and you have to go past Benidorm and it only took me 1h 20mins. 40 mins tops I would say. Stayed in Albir and visited Altea a few times and a lovely part of the world and then you have Denia down the road as well.
