I think as individuals most of the defence are good players. Dasilva error prone and Lati not a great footballer, but the latter had an okay game last night I thought. As a unit the defence is poor, the balance of types of player just isn’t right and we lack organisation when being countered.

Whatever the result is just smash his head against the wall and piss in the kettle.

My only concern that half is I want to see a bit more from Sakamoto and Torp in the second half. Some good performances there so far though. Dasilva (ignoring the dodgy header back to Collins) and Lati both had a good half there.

Im enjoying it, it’s relaxing.

One team have done that this season - Derby. And it wasn’t because Thomas’s passing was poor. It was to limit the different number of possible out-balls / cut the passing lanes. Basically it was a really smart tactic imo and I don’t personally believe it was to do with his ability to pass out...

I don’t understand how some people get confused about his quite obvious ability on the ball, because of the odd errant pass. He’s a good footballer that makes mistakes in judgement on occasion.

Despite the fact he sometimes passes straight to the opposition, he clearly has it.

To me it feels like a sensible financial decision based on the number of first choice midfielders we currently have, his rate of development over the last two seasons and the number of minutes he is playing now.
