    SISU's summer sale

As Saturday is likely to be relegation day we're bound to get a decent sized write up in the Sunday papers. If we can make or feelings known in front of the journos on Saturday it should be guaranteed a mentioned in the papers.

    Thoughts on SISU

Not content with ruining our football club their now trying to get money out of a load of OAPs! http://www.northernlife.ca/news/localNews/2012/04/12-sisu-fundraising-donation-sudbury.aspx

Fantastic.... Thanks very much sisu, br, robinson.... The lot

Well said. Infact if you look at our finishes since 2001 our attendences have always been higher than our league position. The team owe the fans on this one, not the other way round.

Be interesting to hear what Hoffman has to say for himself.

    A sad thought.

Just looking at the league tables, in our 11 years in the Championship we have only won more games than we've lost in a season twice. The last being the first year at the Ricoh.

    good news

I'm being honest when I say I hope we do take this seriously. It might be our only chance to enjoy something next year. I don't care if it is only the Johnstones Paint Pot, I would still love a trip to Wembley with the City.

    Last nights CWR phone in

Is it likely to be on the iplayer? When City lose listening to some of the comments on there is the only thing that brings a smile to my face.

    Saturday

As we fans have done our part of 'getting behind the lads', now that is all over and done with I can't help but think its time we showed our anger. Whether its Sisu, Thorn, the players or all three that you blame I think Saturday has to be about that so lets get some backbone and start having...

And now for the classified football results...

Will we be in Johnsons paint trophy North or Southern section?
  13. coundonskyblue

    hope you are all happy

I don't really see how it could be worse for us as fans. All these cuts to avoid going bust yet we're still going to be playing pompey in league 1 next year. Poor management & leadership at the very top of the club.

So why did they not see the recession coming when everyone else could?

The reality will really kick in in League One

Are the Financial fair play rules based on income or profit? If its income we should be at an advantage, if its profit we're doomed!

so those who think sisu have been good for CCFC please post now

If that is the case then that shows what poor business people they are. Northern Rock went tits up in September/October 07, at that point everyone knew a recession was on the way. Sisu bought us in December 07, their financial bods should have already been planning for the impending economic...

The reality will really kick in in League One

These FFP rules are just the authorities trying to give the appearance of doing something. No one has said what happens if a club breaks them anyway.

so those who think sisu have been good for CCFC please post now

But this is where I have a problem with Sisu. In 2007 cuts had to be made, too many bad players on high salaries. That didn't happen. They should have come in and said money is tight, player budget will be limited, all investment will be directed at sorting out the clubs structual problems...

so those who think sisu have been good for CCFC please post now

But we're just as likely to go bust now as we were in 2007, just in a lower division.
