    Sheaf

To be fair his comeback was very strange - he came back almost totally the opposite player. Pre injury he covered so much ground both pressing and supporting attacks and was very tidy with his feet but never looked like a goalscorer - rarely shot and was poor when he did. Post injury he came...

I really don't agree on this leadership idea. It's not like we're starting games well and losing our way. Or going down early and heads dropping. The performance as a team just isn't there. There's little cohesion. That to me points more to a coaching/management issue rather than leadership on...

Tavares and Bassette showed more understanding in the 21s game than any pair in the first team. That's what happens when the starting lineup seems to be decided by a game of musical chairs at Ryton

if we play well we'll win lol, that's the entire problem. The quality is there.

It's mad how McFadzean has become a demigod player-manager figure since he left the club. The fact is in 22/23 we were defensively solid because we had a back 5 and 2 holding midfielders, and Vik did the work of two players up front so we rarely committed men forward. His "leadership" did...

Does Robins get a bonus for every change he makes to the 11 :ROFLMAO:

Quite. I'm not psychic so there's no way I can "prove" what's going on inside his head. I'm giving my opinion on what I've seen.

His comments in interviews, the amount of changes he's making to the team, confronting fans at the match. Robins of years gone by was stoic in the face of bad results and criticism, this year it is obviously getting to him.

    Chris hoy bad news

Payne actually died? Hoy hasn't. Not hard to see why the sudden death of a 31 yo is getting more coverage than a terminal diagnosis of a 48 yo.

Don't want to speculate on that. But I certainly think he doesn't have complete confidence that he can turn this around, which he seemed to previously.

Robins talking about fans being angry

Yeah. If anything has happened he's chosen to keep it private so that should be respected.

Only just seen this. Sums it up to be honest. Robins has never done anything like this in previous seasons, even when we've started poorly.

    Recruitment has been shocking

It was £7.7m. And he's been here a season now, we've seen what he can do. To me he's clearly worth at least what we paid and probably more.

    Recruitment has been shocking

EMC and Kitching are errors in negotiation IMO. Kitching we left ourselves in a hole on deadline day as we were planning on 3 at the back so needed another CB. Gave us no leverage, so we ended up paying over the odds as he was captain at Barnsley when he should've probably cost about the same...

    Recruitment has been shocking

I don't get how anyone can say we've "massively overpaid" for Wright. 22 G+A in the league last season despite a slow start, scored some really big goals (Wolves, Man Utd, Leeds). Already has 3 this season even though we're crap and he hasn't even played that many minutes. He's one of our most...

    Time's Up

Publicly saying your players are bewildered and can’t handle criticism? Seems strange to me. I said it before, even in previous poor starts Robins always seemed certain that things would improve and didn’t get bogged down in stuff like fan criticism. That feels different this year.

    Time's Up

“People have got to stick behind the players," Robins told BBC CWR. "You can see the bewilderment on the faces of the players. They can't handle the criticism. This is a very odd comment from Mark
