    Hyam

Really? Thought Fadz was way clear when I looked at them.

You'd never sign any player with that attitude though. Every signing is a risk, some more than others though of course. The lesser your budget or further down the proverbial food chain you are, the more risks you have to take.

Farke out………Robins in, What are the chances.

100%. Outrageous that it's not already the case.

    U23 Vs Swansea

Couldn't agree more. Difficult to think of a less appropriate player/position. He's all about pace & playing on the shoulder of the last man.

Turning up would be a start.

Farke out………Robins in, What are the chances.

And their model is similar to the one we've adopted. Badlan is a Stuart Webber disciple. In all fairness, MR & his team could be a good fit there. Sacking Farke isn't the answer though, he's not been backed at all. As you say if the pressures of PL survival & finance etc do mean sacking him...

    U23 Vs Swansea

Agreed. It's his physicality particularly that needs work, L2/NL would be a good test for him.

    U23 Vs Swansea

Yes, exactly. Naturally a LB but, as with most young players, can play other positions too.

    He's definitely a left back.

    Walker

Agree with a lot of this. Walker was excellent at Preston particularly, his all around game was essential to the way we tried to play. When we went direct he won a lot of aerial duels & flick ons for Gyökeres, his hold up play was very good enabling us to get up the field & he even contributed...

    Walker

Don't disagree & this is kind of what I was trying to allude to previously. It's not that Godden is better than Walker or Robins has favourites just that on Saturday, knowing how Derby lineup, it was decided Godden would be more suitable for the way we wanted to play & to also counter what they...

    Walker

Our crossing is woeful & was woeful last season too, I remember making a post on it back in March. It's a major flaw in Dabo's game particularly https://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/next-season-squad-if-we-stay-up.129928/post-2221256
  19. Frostie

    Walker

Yes, I disagreed with that bit too. Hyam is... Erratic in possession imo. One minute he looks really comfortable, the next like a deer in the headlights. McFadz is a very capable ball playing defender.
  20. Frostie

    Walker

Horses for courses imo. All 4 are very decent strikers at this level & offer different things. Harsh on Walker possibly yes but can understand the Godden selection. He runs the channels better than Walker & also helps defensively when playing against a system that utilises wingers. Good...
