    Walker

Dacosta I get, has most of the technical & physical attributes you'd want for a modern day wing-back but he is clearly miles off it with his positioning & awareness. There's a player there but learning on the job could easily have cost us points. Hilßner yeah... Odd. Can only assume it was a...

    O’Hare

That's different, that's what I mean by reasoned debate & should be welcomed. It's the Facebook & Twitter pile ons which aren't helpful imo.

    O’Hare

Absolutely. He already looks totally devoid of confidence when presented with a shooting opportunity. He's not daft, players know their own records etc. Jumping all over him won't help.

    O’Hare

Predicted before the game that fans would be on the players' backs. Sad indictment of modern football fans unfortunately. Lots of reasonable & considered debate on here which is great but there's others on here & particularly Twitter & Facebook etc that have no sense of perspective...

    Tavares

The headlines never match the content - different writers I think. This is the same CovLive that released a story this morning about what a shock it was about Enobakhare being released 🤣 Also how we're looking to move Hilßner on even though he's apparently still at Oldham (news to them & us I'm...

    Tavares

He literally says he's not ready?

    Walker

Walker was excellent at Preston, their commentators were waxing lyrical about him, wishing he was playing for them. Think Godden was the right choice to start last night but baffled why Walker didn't come on for him sooner.

    Swansea (H) - Tuesday 2nd - 19:45

No, just the one that was miles offside.😜 I am probably the biggest defender of officials on here (except @Adge of course), I've done it, it's a thankless task, but just thought he was so naïve & easily conned by a very streetwise side. Not the reason we lost, we were sloppy early on & I...

    Swansea (H) - Tuesday 2nd - 19:45

It is clever but the referee was so naïve in not clamping down on it or at the very least adding additional time on as it was obvious what they were doing. Patterson trotted over for every single throw in on their left flank with no intention of ever actually taking it. He picked the ball up...

    Transfer Rumour Billy Gilmour

Was rather taken out of context tbf. The comment was: "There is no pressure (to play them). We are not here to develop players for other clubs, we are here to win points for this club." But he also said: ‘Big clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea don’t want it easy for their players,’...

    Swansea (H) - Tuesday 2nd - 19:45

Yeah, still struggling with the injury. Did ok in his appearances by all accounts but unable to sustain the required level it seems. Said at the time, we dodged a bullet.

    Transfer Rumour Billy Gilmour

Totally different type of player, Gilmour is a CDM.

    Premier League thread

Seemingly has a lot more knowledge than those running the club. The whole structure at that football club is wrong.

Really, really good manager, always well considered & speaks very well. There's lots of good pieces from his time at MK. I said during his time there that whenever Robins does eventually depart he'd have been my ideal choice to replace him. Obviously that's a non-starter now he's at Swansea...

    Brights contract cancelled

I think many of us have heard similar stories but some just don't want to believe it. Always wanting to see the best in people is very commendable but sometimes you have to realise there's no smoke without fire, especially given his well documented history.

    Hyam

Agreed on Assists completely, just forgot to deselect it when clicking on the passing categories 😁 Yes, this season much much better from Hyam, agreed.👍🏻 Still think Fadz is the most progressive of all, especially playing in the centre, & there's almost once every game where he weights a...

    Hyam

    Agreed.

    Hyam

Fadz was miles better. In fact Fadz was one of the best ball playing defenders in the Championship when it came to progressive passes & accuracy. https://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/liam-kelly-kyle-mcfazdean-and-dom-hyam.132486/post-2276343

    Bright and Robins

It's his defensive discipline that would put many off in my eyes. He needs to learn when to press & when not, leaves gaping holes behind him pretty regularly. Something that can be worked on though.
