    ACL chairman forced to resign

Maneuvering their own man into a position where he can faciliate a deal that could potentially see a registered charity receive less money for their shares than they otherwise could. No, not underhand at all that.

    Crowd for Wednesday?

Advanced ticket sales for this are much better than they were for the Worcester game. I think over 7K.

    ACL chairman forced to resign

Not really, but all this political maneuvering and underhand stuff is just tiresome. Can't think of anyone who comes out of this with any credit.

    Should wasps buy ccfc?

It really isn't that difficult to understand. The owners of ACL buying the football club would make sense IF those owners did not also own a rugby club, especially when they purchased the Ricoh with the sole intention of channeling profits from the stadium into said Rugby club in order to cover...

    Looking forward to the JPT

I don't expect anyone to be chomping at the bit to go Wednesday, but of the two games it was always the one I would have chosen to have gone to if I'd had to pick (it's a sad indictment of where we are now that I should be saying that). Lost interest in the FA Cup in recent years. Wasn't that...

    Should wasps buy ccfc?

This is idea that Wasps buy the club and we'll all skip off to the promised land is a bit silly. This club was losing money hand over fist averaging 21,000. I'm not sure, even with half ownership (that's what it would be in effect), the club could flourish without a major injection of cash...

    Looking forward to the JPT

Ha, have to admire your spirit. Never felt this deflated, but come Wednesday I will have convinced myself to go (not that it was ever in doubt I guess), and I'll cheer them on. What the fuck else can we do? Wallow in self-pity? I suppose, but that's no fun at all. All back on the Wembley...

24 years of going up. I have never felt so low with CCFC

Fair play. Hope you get back to Worcester at some point.

    support

To be fair, we have played well on occasions this season - we were excellent against Yeovil, were decent first half at Swindon and played well against both Sheff Utd and Barnsley. Don't get me wrong, the squad is seriously lacking (clearly), but I think there are some decent individuals and I...

    Remembrance Day

It works both ways though. You can't really take the moral high ground if you are going to use a ill-fitting remembrance day armband to have a dig at our owners. Plenty of other reasons to do that. I suspect it was probably just a mistake by one individual. The programme gesture and video on...

24 years of going up. I have never felt so low with CCFC

Certainly not on a today like today. A bit like when we took liberties at OT. I doubt many of Salford's finest lost any sleep about that.

24 years of going up. I have never felt so low with CCFC

Happy to give Worcester credit for their performance, but their fans were just a bunch of once in every 10 year daytrippers. Their 'mob' of 6 fingered knuckle draggers were an embarrassment. Chucking beer glasses from behind a line of police. How many OB there today? I counted 4 police dog teams...

Didn't hear that. Not saying it didn't happen, but the ground was full of angry people today. Shit happens.

    Jim O'brien

Not really bothered by things like that. Nothing wrong with a bit of anger and agression. At least he seems to give a shit.

    Singers corner

About a dozen of them chanted "loyal supporters" as a few people headed to the exits at 2-0. Hardly abuse.

    Should wasps buy ccfc?

Pointless discussion. Wasps are a loss making rugby club that have purchased the Ricoh for the extra revenue streams. CCFC is one of those, and they'll make a tidy sum from us each year. Why would they take on a loss making football club and all the baggage that comes with it? Wasps are not...

    Singers corner

Most of those who go up there are a credit to the club. Still trying to make some noise at 2-0 down at home to worcester. So what if there are a few gobby kids up there. Disgrace? Stop being such a drama queen. There were countless compliments paid to that part of the ground by Bristol City fans...

I look forward to CRFC promotion....

I visit the council site regularly, usually 3 or 4 times a week to have a nosey at any new planning applications. I have NEVER seen CCFC, CRC or any other private company promoted on that site. This is unprecedented and to suggest otherwise is a big fat lie.

That did occur to me, but I am looking forward to that too :)

I look forward to CRFC promotion....

That's the same Councillor Maton who today declared that it would be much better if Coventry stopped receiving funding direct funding from Westminster, including development cash through our own LEP, and should instead support diverting all that money to a regional assembly based in Greater...
