    Guess the gate

Will comfortably be over 14K based on sales so far. Given the amount of people (who aren't regulars) I know who are paying on the gate tomorrow, coupled with the extra security checks, has delayed kick off written all over it.

    Guess the gate

Love the way the club are still tweeting 'Buy online, save money!', and yet online tickets practically sold out. Singles only in East Stand. Have a ST myself, but trying to get tickets for a couple of lads at work and can't. Can always pay on the gate obviously, but seems odd they won't release...

    club shop arena park

True, but that said the online system still doesn't work on tablets or phones, and it's a surprising how many people don't use desktops or laptops nowadays. This has been a known issue for years and should be a simple fix.

    The reason we won today

Can't believe how hard people are on Murphy. He has been excellent for us. Made a big difference for us when he came on last week and looked very dangerous 2nd half today. He's the sort of player who will frustrate at times and go missing, but given we've had a lack of pace and width for years...

    New bar at Ricoh

Just an aside to today's shenanigans, was in the casino today, and faced with a queue six deep, decided to give 'The Mill' a try. Pretty decent actually. Decent beer, plenty of bar staff and tv's showing the live game. Ideal for those with kids who cannot get in the casino. It is pricey though...

Peterborough have sold more than that already.

    Cup draw

Nobody uses the term 'cup final' literally. It's just a light-hearted dig. This game offers them an opportunity for a day out. FA Cup away tie, just up the road against a bigger club that they haven't played in years. They'll bring a shed-load. To be expected and actually will make it a...

Cup draw tonight who do you want?

Not a chance that low. 3k minimum from Northampton and it'll be a tenner.

Cup draw tonight who do you want?

Every dickhead in Northampton will turn out for this. 4000 day trippers. Ah well, pretty decent draw all things considered. Should be pretty lively.

    Crowd tomorrow

Advanced online sales look similar to the Southend game, and that was a 13K gate iirc, so about that at a guess. A good chance we'll beat the opening day attendance against Wigan.

The bit in French is a translation of a previous question. The bit in English below is the next question. Thought that was obvious!

Not sure this is the time to drag all this up again. They're making moves in the right direction and they're not going anywhere. What's the point in dwelling on all the shit that has passed when actually things are looking positive. Onwards and upwards.

    Top away attendance again

Eh? An average of 3000 would make us the best supported club away from home in the football league (and probably the PL). Leeds topped the away fans table last season with an average of 2700. In our division Bristol City could only get 1300 in a promotion season, and Sheff Utd got 1600...

    Pay on the Gate

I think there is, but you can always go into the ticket office to request seats there if not. They're are going from 1 ticket window to 5 people serving inside the ticket office tonight, so wouldn't have thought they'll be queues.

    Southend (Home) Match Thread

Don't deny that. We never had less than 12K for a league game in the Championship at the Ricoh, now 12K is at the top end of what we expect. Not saying that isn't a good turn out all things considered - because it is. Just highlighting how far things have fallen. Carry on winning at home...

    Southend (Home) Match Thread

Hopefully. It's a measure of how far we have fallen that we consider 12k to be a good crowd. Just a few years ago when we were treading water in the Championship that would have been terrible. Got to get these people back regularly. I worry that a bad run of results and we're back down to...
