Do you want to discuss boring politics?

But there's more housing currently being built than we've seen in donkeys years, (it may be a few years late) but i expect the demand has probably peaked, the UK birth rate has dropped off a cliff, we're seeing the fewest babies being born for generations...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

But wasn't the MMR brought in (in part at least) to curb irresponsible lending by financial institutions that ignored affordability, allowed deposit free lending, 100+% lending, allowed self cert mortgage lending etc etc, all of which facilitated the house price boom rather than allow prices...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

The housing crisis was solely caused by the financial banking collapse in the USA which was a result of unregulated bankers. Banks in America and the UK went bankrupt as a result and had to be bailed out to the tune of billions of pounds, which of course is public tax payers money. This...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

This is nonsense on so many levels, when boomers bought their homes at 15% interest rates their wages were nowhere near what they are today, as I said, the percentage of take home pay that my mortgage swallowed up is around the same as it is for the equivalent property would cost today...

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

What you've obviously chosen to ignore is that the boomers were paying extortionate interest rates back in the day. When I bought my first property (2 bed maisonette) I was playing 15% interest rates, which meant the percentage of my wage that was eaten up by my mortgage was almost exactly...

    Referee

At premier league level it could be stamped out very quickly. Eg, if a ref reports a team for intimidating behaviour etc to the FA, then a panel can review the footage, and if necessary deduct points as a result. If behaviours change at the top, then that will filter down to grass roots.

    Viktor Moving on

Not much compared to the 4.5m we spunked up the wall on EMC.

    Viktor Moving on

I don't think Vik would want to drop down a level, especially now he's playing champions league football at Sporting.

    Ball carrying centre halves

Here, just read this comment on Binks here https://www.coventrytelegraph.net/sport/football/football-news/coventry-city-player-ratings-luton-30234071 Basically saying he did OK, but he had one job to do and fucked it up.

You can poo poo my reply all you like. It just shows your ignorance to defending.

    Ball carrying centre halves

As I said, there's other opportunities to do better in the build up, but ultimately if your CH can be mugged off so easily, your never going to keep a clean sheet. If a simple ball into space inside your own box, leads to a striker having time and space to make a run, control a ball, turn...

    Ball carrying centre halves

Have you not seen it? Watch the scorers movement, who is the guy marking him? What does Binks do when the striker makes his run? You could argue that others could of done better up to the final ball, but if your a CH you absolutely cannot allow a striker to move into space inside the box...

    Ball carrying centre halves

I understand that, but we still need a CH that doesn't gift the opposition easy goals. Binks was caught out of position for QPR's equaliser on Tuesday and gifted Luton their second yesterday. At the moment he's a walking liability defensively. Unfortunately Kitching's form isn't much...

    Ball carrying centre halves

Binks was at fault for Luton's second goal yesterday, how many goals has he been at fault for now? I want a centre half to defend first, anything else is a bonus, getting the odd set piece goal would be good, but being a competent defender first is way more important than being a ball...

    Robins Out Poll pt3

Everyone's awful when we've beaten them. Luton fans not happy with their manager or performance yesterday, saying they were awful, I'm sure they'd of said it was the perfect smash and grab away win if they'd of managed to hold on to their half time lead.

WRIGHT and SIMMS through the middle

100% agree When he's in the mood he can be unplayable, unfortunately he's very rarely in the mood, that's why he's had the criticism. We need to see some consistency now.

WRIGHT and SIMMS through the middle

They work well together upfront when the opposition employ a high press, as they give us an outlet, but one of them needs to be able to hold the ball up and play the other one in, that hasn't always been the case. Yesterday they were both in beast mode, which makes them an absolute hand...
