If the Higgs share is worth &6.5 million

Not sure if that was going on during the negotiations or not to be honest. Though if it was during that and have voided the right to purchase the share then wouldn't have been negotitions anyway to finish. Fucked if I know basically.

If the Higgs share is worth &6.5 million

I don't think so, seem to recall from the court case that Higgs ended negotiations so they could talk with other parties interested in buying it or similar.

    Charity Value of its share

I hope that they're not taking it on to make a profit, charitable trusts aren't allowed to be run for profit. You'd best get onto the Charities Commission mate. Mind you, maybe CCFC could become a Charitable Trust, defintely not in danger of breaching that rule.

    Charity Value of its share

Imagine that a valuation of Nil would be given for the club, but rather like ACL and it's £14million loan to be repaid, would have to take on all the debts. You can buy it if you like.

    Charity Value of its share

They can hang on to sell it for what they think it's worth if they so wish. Anyway I'm just off to call the car breakers, they had offered me £100 for my old car, but I value it at £2000, so going to hold it til they match my valuation. They'll be crawling back to me in no time I expect.

    Charity Value of its share

I certainly do think that the £6.5million might have been better spent. Higgs can sell it or not at whatever price they like, may end up with an asset worth billions or something that ends up costing them money, which it already has of course, as they have taken nothing out and £6.5million...

    Charity Value of its share

Was he using semantics when he said they'd bought the shares then?

    Charity Value of its share

If it had gone under then so be it, helping out millionaire owners and players shouldn't really be the concern of a charity. If we'd gone under then, the share in ACL would have become worthless much sooner, and in fact should have gone under in 2007 before Sisu came in and after Robinson and...

ACL has "net value of nil"

Reading this site, I despair for the rest of the country if that's the case!

    Charity Value of its share

Think we've helped the local charity out to be honest by moving out and should be applauded for it. Doubled the turnover since we've gone by their own account.

    Charity Value of its share

They got the old board out of a hole very temporarily. Their choices in doing that should maybe be questioned, but they're the charity not Sisu. If running Browns which they've taken over doesn't go too well, will we all chip in to make sure that they get their money back?

    Charity Value of its share

It's not semantics at all. They bought the share from the club. The fact they should never have got involved in the first place is irrelevant to that.

    Charity Value of its share

It wasn't as loan, it was a sale. Sometimes the value of things can go up, down, or stay the same, whether it's a charity or not that owns it.

I'm a Coventry City player. I signed a new contract this season

Impossible. I've read on here that he's definitely already been sold to Wolves and Notss Forest. He's also had his own medical done just to save time in case anybody wants to buy him.
