Didn't CRFC see a significant boost in attendances after Wasps arrived. It was widely reported. Also, I know a few people who took to watching Cov when city were exiled in Northampton - were they not welcome too?

I think it was 90% from CV and B postcodes - which is a big old area - well over 3 million. The only two people I know who watch Wasps games are from Birmingham. Actually, one is from Telford, but was originally from Brum.

    New kit??

Somebody mentioned green and black, but not sure if there is any basis to that or if it is assumption because there is a Nike template that sits right next to the home version on this graphic. I guess it'll be one of those, and green and black is the most obvious given that it is traditional.

    Could those attending Wasps games...

Not sure what difference it makes. Wasps fans who travel up from London - well that's up to them. There were Wimbledon fans who travelled to MK, and some still do. Don't get it myself, but then since there is no prospect of a Wasps phoenix club (it's Rugby after all, nobody cares that much)...

    Could those attending Wasps games...

Think we're getting a bit hysterical. Is there one example of a city fan being 'hateful' to a Wasps supporter outside of online trolling? At least any more hateful than city fans are to each other most of the time? Think I must have missed something, because Coventry seems to have rolled out...

    New kit??

Loving this from Port Vale. The best kit I've seen in a while. Love the retro feel

    New kit??

The constant switching from solid colour to stripes and back again is a bit odd, no other team does that. But then, looking at the graphic above it is something we have done throughout our history and so is probably unique to us and perhaps we should embrace it. Not keen on the new shirt, but...

    season ticket sales

I don't know for sure. Think they'll sell it and then just say you'll have to present it later, either send it or call in the the TO at some point and show it just so they can confirm. Just going by what happened last season but might be different this time.

    season ticket sales

Yeah, this is a bit of frustration, although £25 quid for a ST is a snip. My mate is in the same boat, he can't purchase the JSB ST online, so was all set to go up today but it is closed and he won't be able to get up there this week. But I think you can do it over the phone and then you have...

    season ticket sales

I seem to recall at the end of the EB last season we were at 4900 and went on to sell 5700 by the time the season started.

I thought we were at 4100 last count? Still, its pretty encouraging.

Fisher: Butts Park Arena is our preffered option

All the hassle is in the beginning. Once up a running it is maintenance free pretty much. The website don't do much, but the app does all right. Get about £600 a month now, which is pretty good for doing jack shit!

Fisher: Butts Park Arena is our preffered option

Not sure there's any mystery here. The deal that was being negotiated was a 25 year deal on improved terms for the football club. I am sure the option to extend on a rolling basis under the current terms is there. Unless we think Wasps would actually kick us out? On a completely different...

5700 by the beginning of the season, rising to 6300 by Christmas (iirc).

I don't know if you are right about Wasps - but I think their recent actions are questionable in the extreme. The council? There are certainly some elements who want to harm SISU, and inevitably that harms the football club by association.

Fisher: Butts Park Arena is our preffered option

I think that point was point to them and they basically said what they would sacrifice in parking revenue would be eclipsed by income from revenue streams that would open up (income that will never be available to them as it stands). They are only dissatisfied because it is currently one of the...

Fisher: Butts Park Arena is our preffered option

I think I read somewhere a while ago that the site was gong to be redeveloped. Not sure though. On a separate note, isn't the hotel and office complex next to BPA still up for sale? Won't happen, but if the financial clout was there it would be a good idea to buy it. On site offices, a small...

Fisher: Butts Park Arena is our preffered option

I was referring to existing car parks used by businesses, not new ones. People coming from out of town would have no issues - they drive to the city centre, park, and then walk to the ground. How does St James Park cope when 55,000 people rock up to a ground right in the city centre with about...

Fisher: Butts Park Arena is our preffered option

15,000 is not enough, that is broadly accepted - but it is evident that the club want more. 25K would be great, so we should work with the club and make is clear that is what we want. Tight ground? Would take that any day. Proper football ground, unlike many of the modern efforts where the...

Fisher: Butts Park Arena is our preffered option

Why? If I chose to park at Belgrade Plaza and walk, I wonder enter via the Radford Road and exit the same way? Same goes for any other city centre car park, or I could approach from the other side a park in a private car park - plenty of those would pop-up Some of those areas are a good walk...
