EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

It isn’t the EFL voting they will monitor any meeting and work if they can with any decision, they will have an opinion for sure but by allowing any vote and going or attempting to go with any decision I assume helps their legal status.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Who in their right minds are going to spend £4/5million on a third division player when there are going to be dozens of provern championship and even Premiership players available for no fee and perhaps more realistic wages. If Peterborough have banked next season on any Ivan Toney fee they...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I actually hope it’s Portsmouth that come up with us and Rotherham, good place to go, if allowed, decent loyal supporters too, mainly and like us been through the mill a bit.

I keep saying all the leagues below the Prem are waiting for them to decide exactly what they are doing No ambition there then.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

The EFL won’t take any notice of that, if teams could re-arrange their own fixtures can’t imagine Oxford, Peterborough or Wycombe breaking their necks to play us. It will be as I said the same order is it would have been.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I would assume any player who’s contract has expired and has secured another club won’t play or want to play, I wouldn’t risk an injury that could put a move in jeopardy.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I would assume they will play the games in the same order as it would have been had the season not been stopped

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

And let’s not assume the clubs in the Premiership gravy train are exempt I think a good few clubs in that division are looking nervously over their shoulders.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I think there was always a straw that would break the camels back with football finances and I’m afraid this coronavirus is it.

Fleetwood will win play-offs anyway, they have the Joey Barton factor.

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

Think it was just to highli If a division three player moved for £25 million anytime let alone in this current climate I’ll show my backside in Broadgate.

After the Elation - The questions

Despite our current ground situation I think buying Coventry City would be as good as any other club, I also think you would get a club on the up and with what I would call a standing start, some of these championship clubs have a number of players on five figure weekly wages, shudder to think...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I’m sure this will go to ppg but if not and we have to play the season out doesn’t bother me in the slightest, we will be going into these games with the best squad by a long way, fully fit and raring to go and get the job done, ten matches left and needing to win half. Teams won’t be relishing...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

I know the EFL are not the favourite organisation on here but I do have a bit of sympathy with them on this promotion issue, I’m sure they know if games can’t be played and i am certain that will be straight ppg, none of the weighted bullshit, But there are as see it two problems, one is what if...

EFL to end season this week - City likely to be promoted

This needs sorting gone a bit quiet lately with this coronavirus issue and matches being suspended but it is a possible Achilles heel all the time, won’t make too much difference for a while as I suspect behind closed doors will be with us for a bit, be nice to get it sorted so when crowds...
