Waghorn is a total waste of space. Fuck off.

Dirty tactics employed by Preston. Hope they get some players sent off.

Cameron Archer looks dangerous. Think we were interested in getting him from some rumours I read. They love to lump it forward and go route 1. Think it will be tough, but hoping for another nail-biting 1-0 win.

I hope MR draws up a game plan to beat this side much like how he opted for a counter attacking style versus Bristol City. Agree with some of the team selection suggestions not that we too many options to choose from anyway.

    Tonights games of importance

Totally annoyed at tonight's results, The only positive was our win yesterday, We need to beat Preston on Sat and hope those around us lose/draw. Then rinse/repeat.

    Points for Play offs

Today's results didn't help. Sheff Utd, QPR Luton, Huddersfield all won. Would have been worse had we not won yesterday.

    Reality Check

From MR’s post-game comments it appears that part of the game plan yesterday was to play a counter attacking style of play and hit them on the break.

    Hamer

When he's on his game, his anticipation, vision and awareness to make plays or break up plays is truly remarkable. Would be nice for him to chip in a few more goals, but we really need to tie him down long term.

    Points for Play offs

After the long layoff in Dec, and the morale-sapping losses to QPR and Boro (despite being the better team), these last few wins despite not being entirely dominant is a very promising sign. The loss to Cardiff was one we sleep-walked into and I feared much the same outcome tonight. But I'm very...

As stated in the Reading match thread, Maatsen needs to score more often. We don't lose when he scores.

Actually I think we were better today than vs Reading or Barnsley. The 3 points is what matters anyway.

Will be a very tough game. Much like us, they are good at home and not so good away. Still we should not be playing for just a point if we really want to challenge for the playoffs. I’ll take another 93rd minute winner. Think MR will rotate some players. Maybe time to start Dabo in place of...

    Free agents in the summer

https://www.nottinghamforest.news/2022/02/20/report-nottingham-forest-want-burton-star-tom-hamer/ Forest/Hull looking to sign this right back from Burton in the summer. Not sure if we need a RB, but his age (22), price (free) and lastname (Hamer) seems to fit with our recruiting policy.

Godden out for another FOUR weeks

All joking aside, I’m a little skeptical about why Godden’s rehab should take this long. Can they get a second opinion? I thought he had the procedure done laparoscopically which is supposed to reduce the healing time. Just from a few google searches I’ve done, it appears people return to normal...
