    Average League Attendance

I think that if you asked any Cov fan if they'd prefer the club to pay a higher or lower rent, they'd go for a lower one. I think that many fans are unhappy with the way that TF/SISU have handled the negotiations, but would still want a lower rent. I think that the real issue is that many...

I suggest you re-read his comment. Perhaps you could apologise then.

Just as a matter of interest who do you want to stop making up lies and which lies were you referring to?

    Mr Fisher please wake up

Quite correct. ACL should view the club as a community asset in exactly the way that SISU do.

Some answers to some of the many questions

    Yes - that's SISU's job!!!

    All Ricoh/ alternative ground comments.

They might "tell ACL to get stuffed" but they'll still have to pay what's due under their contract - or face the consequences.

City player who constantly got you off your seat

Tommy Hutch naturally - although in those days most of us weren't sitting to start with!!

    Im sick of all this

Have to disagree there Otis. The owners in the States are even more financially focused than those over here - I don't believe they'd agree to the "regulation" of their squads if there was any risk that they could be relegated and so could lose out on the very lucrative revenue streams...

    Im sick of all this

But it works because they have a closed league (no promotion and relegation) so the clubs can live with it as they can't be relegated.

    Why Coventry?

My Dad came from Coventry. I can't remember a time before I supported them - it's always been so! First game I can remember was losing 2-1 at home to Leeds in (I think) 1969.

    Where is he?

I'm not sure which article you're referring to but I'd guess that any £30m quoted would have been based on the sum of the three £10 millions noted above.

    Where is he?

Promised to pay off all our debts and give £30 m for new players - think that's a figment of your imagination. As I recall, the proposal that was talked about was £10m to buy out SISU (including all their loans), £10m to cover running costs and £10m for players.

But that's the point Lord. My principle is that if you've served your time you should be rehabilitated into society and as you say, principles are principles.

Seem to remember debating the morality of that with some at the time. Happy to revisit if you insist :)

What a depressing view of the world.

I agree - this was the most revealing quote. As each day passes it becomes clearer and clearer that SISU were not negotiating in good faith. Sadly, that does not come as a surprise.

VAT isn't my specialist subject so I'm happy to be corrected but I think that the landlord has the option to charge VAT on rent or not.

    Front page telegraph

I'm sure I recall someone posting a while back that they'd spoken to Joe Elliot who'd said that something looked like it would be happening (can't remember what wording was used) at about the end of November........
