Thanks, I think the fact that it wasn't handled that way in the initial deal has helped make it look suspicious when it probably didn't need to be.

I don't doubt that Wasps have got the Ricoh at a good rate, I just don't see that convincing the Council to help SISU (and by extension CCFC) out to any great extent.

It was built by the time they got here yes but they didn't set out with the express intent of getting somebody else to finance a stadium for them. Obviously I could be wrong about SISU too but I don't trust them to be genuine in their dealings and I doubt any of the other parties do either.

Sorry what I meant by 'somebody else paying for it' was that SISU would want the reward without taking the risk. If the appeal is thrown out they will either take it to the European Court (if that is legally available) or instigate civil proceedings. They aren't going to give up yet.

I've been thinking 'these next few games are massive for us' for quite a while now. I think we'll need to take 6/7 points from the next three to keep a reasonable chance of making the play-offs though.
