I wouldn’t. I don’t think he’s as good as some people make out on here. He is decent and for his age still playing a lot of games.

It’s a fair comment my feathered friend. I think Sheaf and Grimes are quite similar midfielders and I’d be surprised if they start many games together and it works. I’d like to be wrong on this. It’s one of the reasons when I heard this rumour I assumed Sheaf was on his way out!

I think chucking him straight in at the deep end would be a poor decision anyway. Few sub appearances to ease him in first.

I think there’s an element of truth to him not being an “exciting” midfielder for sure. I think in a team that already has a lot of attack minded players he would strike a very nice balance. Swansea don’t have that imo.
